3D Modeling is a great way of "visualizing" your design. Design for Manufacturability increases your success rate on whether or not your design can be 3D Printed or Manufactured. CJR Design Services & Training also provides 3D Printing services for your needs.

When I was a full time faculty member teaching CAD, I loved teaching CAD 3D modeling to my students. After spending a semester learning 2D, students were excited to get into 3-dimensional drawings. From mechanical, to civil to architectural drawings, it was great to see what we could come up with.
One of my first clients wanted to start her own business and she has many ideas on 3D objects for manufacturability. What does that mean exactly? You can come up with a design, but can it really be "built or manufactured." A model on screen and then printed/plotted out may be all you are looking for. If you want it 3D printed, I can do that too. Contact me with your 3D model needs and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
